Nowadays, you can enjoy radio shows, television shows and videos whenever you want. You can watch/listen to them online or download them and play them on portable players. You can even subscribe to some of them, like you would subscribe to cable channels, and play them whenever you want, like Tivo.

The trick is finding entertainment that suits you best. Sometimes that's hard to do with the information overload you find on the internet. Even searching through entertainment directories can be overwhelming. That's why it helps to find directories in your areas of interest, or that meet your criteria.

For example, I only want to browse through Family Friendly media. I don't like surprises when I'm watching or listening to a show with my children, and there's something vulgar or inappropriate in the content. That's why I established the Family Friendly Podcast Directory - a place to gather good, free, family friendly content in one place.
