What is Podcasting?
It is downloadable radio shows, television shows and movies that
are hosted on special web pages. Podcast Webpages can be "subscribed"
to in the same way that you can subscribe to cable channels.

cable channels and receive certain shows on your television.
- When you
subscribe to Podcast Channels,

Boomers has downloaded a Podcast.
- That number
will DOUBLE to 132 million by 2009.
- 70%+ of 2007
model vehicles will be compatible with iPods.

BILLION cell phones will be sold in 2006.

Portable Player Owners will download Podcasts.
You
can create your own audio or video podcast so that others can subscribe
to YOUR show.
Podcasting
allows you to build an audience, and also to build familiarity and
loyalty with that audience. You can share your expertise with
them, in hopes that when they need more information, they will come
to you for services or products. And by listing your podcast in
Podcast Directories (especially niche podcast directories), you
are assured that the people who listen to you are pre-qualified
clients in your area of expertise.
However, if
your show is not high quality, it will be a poor reflection on you
and your services and/or products. People want to sample your
offerings before they purchase, and podcasting offers you an inexpensive
marketing tool that simultaneously provides them with an opportunity

of all homework assignments (you need to set aside 2
to 3 hours per week for this)

be.

There was so much information given to us, in so many formats.
I just wanted to share with the group that I took a class by
Penny Haynes of Encouraging Audio Books called Complete Podcasting
Handbook for Busy Entrepreneurs.
I learned SO MUCH about podcasting. There was so much information
given to us, in so many formats, mp3 files, video files, written
text as well as the 2 hour class in a web conference room once
